Awesome food and great service

Had their roast beef special. Very tough beef. Overcooked carrots. Choice of potatoe was only two choices, fries or mashed. Server ignored us after our order was dropped off. Had to walk to cash to pay never having gotten our bill.No alcohol. I'm surprised this local restaurant survives. People must be desperate not to cook....

Tried to eat here for my birthday tonight but we were turned away at the door, an hour before closing, because they had run out of food. They were only offering their turkey dinner special and weren't making anything else.

Ordered take out, including a large coleslaw that cost $4.50. got home and noticed this large coleslaw was a tiny little single serving container like you would get in a KFC chicken dinner. The rest of the order was pricey and pretty blah...

A regular date night stop for me and my hubby out here in the country! Always friendly staff and always a satisfying meal! Love those lattice fries!

Ask for turkey! Is very good and I loved the sauce they used. Waiters are pretty gorgeous and very nice. Very nice discovery!

Have been coming to the junction restaurant off and on since 1989 food was always good and so was the atmosphere it's to bad they renovated and removed the old bar section very nostalgic 5/5 not many places like this anymore

Very friendly service. Food was very good. All round great country restaurant. You don't see liver on most menus. Only thing that would make it better was if I could have had a cold beer.

Economically engineered to family needs

My all-time fave restaurant! Where else can you go on a Friday during Lent and get gluten free fish and chips??? Wait staff are wonderful, they always have homemade soup, and a huge variety of pies. Go early though, the Junction closes at 7 pm.

Great place to eat

Simple breakfast menu with just the basics, and they do it very well. We requested our eggs fried medium, bacon crispy but not burnt, toast with no butter, and everything arrived at the table exactly as ordered. Quick and friendly service. Just FYI there is no cell phone service, and the restaurant does not have WiFi, which is fine as that's not what I go to restaurant for!

Enjoyed a grilled cheese sandwich and garden salad today - they used processed cheese but somehow that made it feel more like comfort food. My date's hamburger was quite good (not as good as the best local burger from Harper's in Kingston, but better than a Kelsey's or A&W). The best recommendation I can say is that I'm looking forward to another visit - I hear they have good breakfasts!Imagine the most typical version of a rural diner in your head, you won't be far off from this place in terms of decor (rustic), service (cheerful) and food (plain but enjoyable).
